Where 90 Years of History
Meet What’s Next

Power Equipment Company
When a company with 90 years of history outgrows its footprint, the next move has to do more than add square footage, it has to tell a story. Power Equipment Company (PECO) tapped GBHD to transform a 52,000 sq. ft. facility into a fully branded headquarters that honors its past and powers its future.
Working hand-in-hand with architects, designers, and contractors, we shaped every inch of the space, from custom-built desks and branded locker rooms to a museum-worthy history wall and restored vintage signage once visible from I-25. The result is a flagship hub where employees take pride, clients feel welcome, and a century-old brand continues to grow.

PECO’s new Brighton headquarters didn’t just open its doors, it earned Brighton EDC’s Project of the Year, cementing the build as a standout example of how smart design, strong branding, and strategic planning can transform a company’s identity. What began as a facility upgrade became a full-scale evolution of culture, customer experience, and community presence.
Project Highlights:

GBHD quarterbacked the entire effort, from flooring, lighting, and custom millwork to environmental graphics and brand storytelling
-
A new logo, refreshed core values, and cohesive brand assets brought the “Backed by Power” identity to life across the space
-
Over 500 pieces of furniture curated and placed to serve workflow, collaboration, and hospitality
-
